Default what brand is better, Gibson, Banks Monster or TRD for a exhaust??

I just replace the air intake of my 2006 tacoma with a TRD kit, and I am very impressed with the results!!
now I want an exhaust.....
choices are;
TRD is a TOYOTA, but kind of pricey
Banks Monster, good for diesel but for tacomas....?
Gibson swept side.......

I know is just a piece of pipe, but which one is better?

Sounds good to me, and it is sounding better as it breaks in! took 1 hour to take old one off and put new one on! price is competitve and quality is fine to me! this is on my 06 DC but they have a Taco setup!

I went with the TRD exhaust along with the CAI... very impressive results, tried both alone and then together, really liked the setup it was exactly what I was looking for.. aggressive sound, loud outside, quiet inside (cab), and not so much of vibration inside the cab....

I have the Gibson setup. Stock came off easy and the Gibson went in easily also. Everything was bolt on which was nice. Sound is good, low rumble at idle. Not excessively loud like a farm truck on the highway, no interior resonance that you get with some muffler replacement only setups. Maybe to hear in person they might all have a slightly different sound to them, but to listen to the sound clips i've heard they all seem to sound pretty close. All I wanted to do was to avoid that raspy fart pipe sound you hear on all the import cars that run around here. That and I found the Gibson on sale at the time for a smokin deal. I would like to hear the Banks in person at some point. I did think at one time someone said that a v6 works better with some back pressure, but that may have been a wise tail or maybe on older stuff. So I wasnt sure how the 3" next to no back pressure Banks worked with the motor.

X2!

I love the way mine sounds, though the intake can be a bit loud when towing on mountain passes.

I say Magnaflow but if you're happy with one TRD product, you may be happy with another.

Banks Power | Gas Trucks, Toyota

youtube has numerous Tacos with headers and Banks monsters on it! all sound good, not too sure if TRD or Banks are close in price but as far as quality i feel Banks has the edge on that one! The ones with the headers on youtube sound real nice with the Banks Monster!

Had my TRD on for 3 yrs, sounds good, looks good. Maybe not as aggressive as a Borla or Banks, but I'd buy it again. Its a solid one piece. If your in Vegas wont matter, but those in heavy snow county w/ salt of the road, 3 nasty winters held up great. Read posts about rust w/ Gibson, Banks, and JBA.

TRD Exhaust here, i think it's perfect, can drive away at night and not annoy the neighbors, and still if you get on it sounds nice. Not overly agressive, and not too quite. I think just right. But to each their own.

I have TRD, it was a good fit for me & if you read demoncleaner's post that is why, oh and it was a gift. Not sure if its better, you'll have to pick what works for you.
