Default Truck Tent - Pics

Iv seen some questions somewhere about these, I broke down and got one last week for a AMA Superbike race this past weekend. And I must say it was a great investment. Forgot to take pics of the cots I have in there, its just 2 pieces of flake board sitting on the bed rail/wheel well with stands in near the center, so we can still stand up inside between the beds(Im 5' 9" and my head touched the ceiling). The small one fits the Taco's, links below!

Looks nice.

How long to set it up?

Have you used it in any wet weather?

Takes about 10min to setup by yourself, and its really really easy. I havnt had it in the rain yet, but the rainfly has some sort of plastic sealant on the inside. And everything is covered nicely by it and then again by the usual tent vent flaps.

One thing I dont like about those tents are the straps running over too much body/paint. Overtime they will rub the paint.

Would be cool if a company offered a slide on tent system that would lock in the tie down/track system, along with a base that extended past the tailgate so those with a short bed can enjoy sleeping in the back too. Wonder if I could rig something up to take advantage of the yakima tracks I have on the retrax... hmmm...

Nice looking truck!

I wouldn't imagine the straps will do much harm unless you are driving down the freeway with the tent still on the back... but, a black truck with dirt on it and it is easy to scratch the paint with any rubbing on the surface... even just tightening the tent straps...
