Default 2002 Tacoma Questions - Possible Used Purchase
We are looking at a 2002 Tacoma 2WD Prerunner for my son. Are there any common problems to be aware of with this vintage? Anything we should specifically look for as part of the test drive? The carfax shows somewhat regular oil changes/maintenance. We did ask another dealer about the timing belt interval and understand it is due at 90k for about $700. They are asking 8900 for the truck.

You should post your question in the 1Gen Tacoma forum. Pre 2005 Tacomas are first generation. There should be more people in that forum that can answer your question.
