Question 09 Tacoma bed tool box

Any suggestions for a truck tool box for an 09? Toyota sells one for $600 and it is exactly the style I want except about $300 more than I want to pay. Anyone with specific make/models that they have and like? Thanks!

Make freiends with someone that works at the parts department. The MSRP is way above the dealers invoice on most of their accesories. Go back to the dealer you but the truck from and see if he/she will give it to you for invoice, they might to keep a loyal customer. Should be around $350.00!

I agree, bought this one and is a great box and fits perfectly. Any special recommendation on which black paint to use?

i cleaned it, hit it quickly with a scruffy pad, and two coats of primer and used
krylon semi black and looks great, and no glare in rear view mirror now !
i hauled a bit of gravel and scratched the back side a bit but cleaned and re-sprayed that area and can't tell all looks good !

the semi gloss black makes it look really and a cheap mod !
