Default couple of 07' Tacoma questions...

Bought my first 07' Tacoma 4.0l V-6 TRD SR5 4x4 used & in great shape(51K) not too long ago. Sold my '07 Tundra(too big) and my 00' Dakota and chose to split the difference, so I'm a bit new to Tacos.
Question 1) If I do NOT have the tow package, what is my max tow capacity? I hate to have to even think about this because I could tow a house with my Tundra.
2) What is the difficulty in installing a tranny cooler on this truck(I've heard it's a breeze) and where is the best place to put it?
3) Where the hell is the dipstick for the tranny fluid? Can't seem to find anything about it in the owners manual.

Sorry if there are 10,000 threads on these topics and I come off as a newb, but I'm in a bit a of a time crunch and my searches haven't yet yielded the answers I'm looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1) I believe the tow capacity w/out the tow package is 5000lbs, but I'm not sure.

2) All the tranny coolers I have seen have been placed in front of the condenser so that if you open the hood and look down, it goes tranny cooler, condenser and then the radiator.

3) The Tacoma's do NOT have a tranny dipstick. IIRC, checking the fluid level of the tranny is a pretty involved process because you have to wait for the fluid to be w/in a certain temp. range.

Hope that helps

Towing Capacity is only 3500 lbs without the tow package per toyota's website.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! Just haven't had a lot of time yet to learn about my Tacoma yet and I've got to tow a Honda Civic with a tow dolly. Shouldn't be a problem. But thanks for the info!
