Default Possible LSD issue...

While wheeling on saturday, we were going up a pretty steep climb and I hit a rock, up towards the front of the truck, nothing out of the ordinary. Anyhow I stop, get out to do a double check and it appeared to hit the front cross member. No biggie. Hop back in the truck start to drive and the right rear wheel isn't moving at all. It's just being dragged along.

My truck is an 07 Access Cab 4x4 v-6 TRD Sport. Anyhow, thinking I'm completely screwed, I mean how would a tow truck even get to me out on the trail we were on, so I figured maybe something was just "stuck" in the LSD, I was pretty off kilter The suspension was pretty compressed on the Right side of the truck (non moving wheel) and pretty extended on the Left side.

I just put it in first and did a hard clutch drop and next thing you know, smooth sailing the rest of the day. Guess the question is, is this the beginning of the end or just a mishap that can happen with the LSD? I've only got about 11,000 miles on the truck. So just wondering if there is anything I need to have checked out or any advice at all.

Thanks!

Does not sound like a diff problem, sounds like the parking brake hung up, which is not really normal but does happen more often than it should. Rocking the vehicle usually causes it to unlock (from being wedged). Most times snugging up the rear shoes does the trick to prevent/reduce chances of these incidences.

Thanks for the quick reply and I like that idea better than the LSD having an issue.
