Exclamation cruise drive

Hi I try several time to drive with the drive cruise in my toyota tacoma 05 and every time is falied in the freeway ,I push the botton few seconds and never stay when I take my hand out and my food star to loss speed so I don't know what is wrong
any body can help me....

Did you push the button on the end of the switch to turn it on first? Then when cruising (must be above 25 mph), push the lever down. Then release your foot from the gas pedal. Is this what you did? Was the cruise control light on in your instrument panel?

I push the button then when I have 60miles pus the tap down few secons but never stay I loss speed ,could be that it dosen't work ..

Mitiko, I don't think you're doing anything wrong. When you turn the cruise on, does it light up in the instrument cluster? Haven't checked, but is there a fuse (per owner's manual) that applies to the cruise control that might be blown?
