Question 3in lift

Hi I am new to the site. I have been reading about people having the tires rub on their tacomas. I am getting ready to have a 3" lift put on my 06 dbl cab 4x4, the guy at the lift place said they will put on 285-70 -16 33" tires . My question is does any body have this set up? Do you have any issues?? Thanks Joe

285 on stock 16 inch wheels

Last post even larger tires on a 2.5" lift. This idiot found that in about 47sec...

DON'T LIFT IT. I had Toyota add a 3" lift when I purchased my 07 Access cab new. After 10k I had driveshaft vibration. They have since replaced the Front Diff twice. Vibration goes away for app. 7-8k. I would suspect they will be putting in another Diff about January. This can't be good for the rest of the Drive train. Thank God for Extended Warranty
