2004 Taco alarm problem

A while back a motorcycle with straight pipes set my alarm off. Now it is extremely sensitive. It also started 'beeping' four times when unlocking instead of two. Is this an indication of something wrong with alarm? Is there a way to make alarm less sensitive. Work next to train track and alarm goes off when train comes by. Thanks.
