Question Going shopping for a extended cab tomorrow

I'm kinda leaning toward a Tundra, however I see some nice offroad package Taco's with price drops and 0% financing as well.

Question for you extended cab owners.

How is the back seat for long trips? ...do adult passengers feel crampt?

Also how is the hwy mielage?

Not too comfortable in the back for adult passengers. That's the MAJOR issue I have with mine. I didn't want the short bed with the DBL cab, and I couldn't get the locker with the DBL Cab LB, so I went with the AC. IF gas prices aren't an issue, and you don't plan to offroad a lot, but want the extra space, just get the Tundra. I would have if gas wasn't the main factor. The AC on these trucks should be just a wee bit bigger.

Highway mileage is about 21.5-22mpg with 265/75 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Getting about 19.5 mixed right now. I expect it down to 18 or so once winter is hitting.

the back is always cramped, and driving three others for long distances isn't the best idea. however, last summer me and two friends drove from indiana to seattle and back again. how you ask? fold down the rear seats and load them with foam pads. One of us was able to sleep back there constantly, and between two drivers, we made the trip in under 40 hours, almost non-stop.
again if you'll regularly have 3 adult passengers, look at the double cab, but as for me, i wouldn't trade the full bed (the actual truck bed, not my improvised one) for anything
