Garbage AVS Bug Shields!

Folks, stay away from the Lund/AVS type shields for your Tacomas! I had a Bugflector II on my 2008 Taco that the clips tore right through the plastic protective tape and ripped two nice sized holes right through the paint down to the friggin metal! It also put a chip in the plastic on the bottom above the grill as well due to the tightness of the fit.

I removed the shield completely from the truck today and sent off a b*tch note to AVS about this asking them to pay for the repair! I specifically researched shields to find the one that would not touch the paint and damage it before buying the AVS and it did so anyway!
