Default Traded 2007 for 2009 Taco

.

I traded my Tundra (which I loved) for a Taco ... because the Tundra was a little to big for my needs now.

Just wanted to say "hi" and I will be hanging around here more as a "newbie".

SOS

PS ... A while back, I had a 2004 Taco and I loved it.

PPPS ... I test drove a Frontier and picking the Taco was a no brainer.

IMO, the Frontier is a good truck, but I liked the Taco better all around (except the Frontier had a heavier duty tailgate and bed IMO). No regrets at all buying the TACO though.

Grats on the swap! I've had my taco for 3 months now, and I'm still quite happy with it. I did a lot of test driving as well, in other vehicles, and it was a pretty easy decision to make.

I traded my 2001 Tundra for a 09 double cab. I like the extra doors, gas mileage, backup camera and AUX jack in my Taco, but I miss the 'pounce' of my 8cylinders.

im thinking of trading my 04 off road trd tacoma in for an 09 access cab 4x4 sport package. how is the overall handling and offroad, vs the older styles?

im excited to test drive one soon, the manual six speed, how is the response? what price you get yours for, if you dont mind me asking. hows the sub woofer sound?

Congrats on the new truck, the 09s are pretty nice w/ the backup cam & other safety goodies. I went from a 04 DC Tundra to a 06 AC Tundra to a 06 DC Tacoma.(bought as a leftover in March 07). The tacoma is perfect size for my needs & now have 28k on the odometer. My tundras were all the 4.7, one had the vvti & got decent mileage. The idea of the 4.7 in a tacoma would be sweet. I liked the smoothness of that engine & its mpg. The tacoma's 4.0L auto is good but I loved that 4.7!

Did you get manual or auto?
