Mud Flap Fit

I've not gotten the answer I was looking for in my other post. I'd really rather leave the mud flaps on, so I want to replace the broken fronts. I think the main problems with the 2007 flaps are that they are much longer than older models, and the plastic is not that durable, obviously. I've read that the 2005 flaps are shorter, so, my question is, will 2005 front mud flaps bolt right on to the 2006, 2007, and 2008 models?

They will bolt on just fine. They're just not as long.
