What do i clean MAFS with ?

hey guys i know the tundra motor is a finicky one, way to many post to look through to see what guys use,

so what do i clean the mass air flow sensor with
and i live in Toronto Canada, so my options are limited, but all answers welcome thanks

Ive never cleaned my MAFS but ive cleaned my throttle body a few times

I would think you want to use a little spray of Throttle Body Air Intake Cleaner/Not Carb. Cleaner. Carb Cleaner is to strong for this

I've used electronics parts spray cleaner. Think you can get it at most parts stores or Radio Shack.

After reading your post and watching the video I posted above, I decided to head over to Advanced Auto and buy a can of the CRC MAF Sensor cleaner

I removed the plastic engine cover on my 2005 4.0 V-6 Tacoma,Unplugged the MAF Wire Harness Plug from the MAF sensor,Removed 2 small phillips screws,Removed sensor from the Housing,Sprayed the sensor contacts with the crc maf cleaner,Let dry for a few minutes,Sprayed again,Let dry a few minutes and reinstalled the sensor back into the housing.

Make sure you spray up inside the sensor

There are some contacts that are way up inside the sensor

Also spray the contacts that are on the outside of the sensor

Truck idles smoother and quieter
