Default 2009 double cab tool box help

Can anyone point me to a tool box that meets the following criteria?

1) Fits 2009 double-cab short-bed

2) Black in color

3) Low profile

4) Can be ordered online

Thanks - I'm in Wyoming - not many dealers out here.

well
i got a Kobalt from Lowe's
and just painted it black

http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...279&lpage=none

and the easy way to mount a truck box is with J hooks in the rails ( no drilling and can remove easly ( if you have the key to open the truck box ;-D
and could be damn handy if you have a short bed!

Thanks, this may be an option. The closest Lowe's is in Cheyenne, though. 2-1/2 hours away.

Do the lid and latches come off to make painting easier?

you can order online if you wanted to !

i didn't bother to take the top off, can still be painted easy
i used 2 coats of primer and then some satin black !
and before i painted i removed the blue "kobalt" logo from the box with string.
NOTE:
on a low profile and reg cab the glare is a problem, satin doesn't reflect,
and easy to touch up so cost me about $15 for the rattle cans to do it about 1 1/2 years ago , had to touch the bottom a bit after carrying "just a bit " too much gravel.

Thanks for your replies, phantom. Your box looks good.

I went with a UWS.

I called the people at UWS, and the lady I spoke to confirmed that their model TBS-63-A-LP-BLK will fit my truck.

I ordered it from here:

http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...te=1&p=1272221

A bit spendy, but it's blavck, and my painting skills are not strong.

I have been looking for exactly the same thing. I found a very thin (shallow) one on another site ... but lost the link.
