Have a 2007 Tacoma TRD Off Road. Yesterday started vehicle, released parking brake and put in drive and vehicle would not move. Reapplied parking brake, released, put in drive again and still would not move. Placed in Reverse and it went backward with no problem. Placed in drive and everything was fine. Used vehicle three times since and everythiing seems okay. Believe parking brake was somehow stuck and going in reverse somehow caused it to release. Any suggestions, or should I just take it to the dealer since it is still under warranty. Like to stay away from dealer maintenance if at all possible. Thanks!

Many have had this problem. Usually it's because water has gotten in the drums. Did it rain there beforehand or did you drive through any water?

As far as warranty goes, usually brakes and such are covered only for the first 12 months/12,000 miles. So you would want to call ahead and ask that question before considering taking it in.
