Default Supercharger

My son has a chance to get a supercharger for his 06 Taco for $1500, but he has to swap the parts from his truck to the truck the supercharger is coming from. I know the Tundra needs a re flash when installing a supercharger, is it the same for the Taco? Has anyone done this or can anyone give me any info on this?
Thanks,
Tony

They are going to have to trade ECU's. Im not sure if thats going to mess up vin numbers or not. I can't remember. They will also be swapping s/c for the stock intake manifold...a couple of hoses here and there. Injectors and spark plugs. etc

But yes, the s/c for the tacoma's needs a reflash, unless you buy the X-1 Engine Management from APR

APR Power - ECU
