Tacoma Backup Sensors

Has anyone ever installed these on their Taco? I was looking at the license plate frame sensors so i wouldn't need to drill through my bumpers. Does anyone know if this particular version would still work well enough to prevent me from backing in to my neighbors old crappy truck and denting my bumper again?
