Question Tacoma Temperature Dial Difficult to Turn - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

I have a 2000 Tacoma Prerunner 6 cylinder. Turning the temperature dial from left to right (cold to hot) is difficult to turn and makes loud clicking sound after the halfway point going towards "hot". In addition, the temperature never does get "hot"...not even "warm". I'm thinking that there's a door/flap connected to that dial that opens a compartment to the engine that allows in the "heat"....and it must be stuck or something. Anyone have this happen and if so...how do I fix? Thanks!

I got my answer. It's the control box behind the dash for the temperature dial.
