I have a 2008 DC 4x4 V6. I've read on here about the timing cover gasket leak situation that Toyota issued a TSB for. Is this a given that it will leak on EVERY vehicle? I haven't looked at mine yet but am kind of hoping it doesn't affect me. I'd hate to have to have the entire motor torn down and the gasket fixed. Nothing is ever right once they rip it all apart, at least in my past experiences with vehicles.

Small oil leak, but from where????

I don't think every V6 will suffer from this problem. I asked in the thread above what the failure cause is ... is it silicon gasket that fails with mileage? I'd like to see the TSB to see what it says, but I can't find a copy anywhere on the site.
