Your friend is fortunate, and extremely lucky that the company stepped up and solved the problem. From what I can read, it sounds like an installers problem. Next time, if you are unsure, or your friend for that matter, post pictures and ask. Most likely myself, or others on this board would have seen the problem right away and could have offered guidance so that this doesnt happen again. Seek professional installation if all else fails....

Update on my buddies Tacoma 4X4
The Manufacture shipped him a new complete 3" top of strut mount kit
with rear lift blocks, plus a set of upper ball joint knuckle assemblies.
The only problem is he is back to the start, The spacers a raw aluminum
and the hardware looked used and a real low grade. The rear 1 1/2” rear
blocks are Pepboys 2” aluminum blocks that have been cut down to size
on a band saw with about 16” long u bolts that would drag on the ground
if not cut shorter after installed. My buddy through the whole kit in the trash.
Is there anyone that can recommend a 3” lift front and rear that isn’t sold
on ebay. He has be looking at toytech.
Thanks

Dude.. .you have to name drop the company now....research on here, spacer kits have been discussed at length. Toytec comes to mind along with a host of others......Many of which are sponsors on this board...... hint hint...

I offer you help and constructive criticism and this is how you act? It is interesting that you wont answer the question as to who made the lift. Why do you feel necessary to attack me? Geek squad? I've been called worse..... You asked for advice, and I offered some. Advice is exactly what you need right now, considering your "friend" is attempting another lift job.... Judging by your reaction I am sure you are your own "friend." I have put more lifts and done more suspension work on Toyota's than many on this board. If you dont want my advice, fine. Given the outcome of this situation you needed just that.

On a side note.... this gene pool around here lately could use some chlorine....
