i have an 06 access cab, can switch out the old rear seats for the 09 seats? and how much would that cost?

I'm sure if you look around you can find someone who will swap with you. From what I've seen, most people would rather have the 05-08 seats.

over the rear bench thats there now? the 09s atleast look like seats, but i guess looks are decieving

anyone have a pic of the new back seats...im just curious what the difference is ive seen 05s and an 08 is it basically like the tundra access cab of the 00-06 years?

No need to imagine, as I indicated, just look around. Here's 3 I just found by doing a search at TacomaWorld. The first guy isn't even that far from you.

ok i sort of see why they are doing the swaps. Like me, i would very rarely have anyone in the back, i am already short one seat....as seen here :P
