Hi everyone, new to this and have a few problems. Heres a little about the taco, 05 2.7l reg cab 2wd, k&n filter, gibson cat back exhaust. The problem happened when i changed my plugs last, at the time I had a magna flow muffler no tail pipe on the truck, changed the plugs and then it threw the code "p2441 and p2445". I have been researching about this and it seems that everyone that has thrown this code has headers, which I dont have. I just think that it was funny that as soon as I changed the plugs the light came on, I believe they were A/C plugs that I put in. I just changed them today again because I'm tired of the light being on and want to fix it correctly. I put in the correct denso's today, when I pulled the old ones out they looked bbbbbaaaddddd. The ceramic was all discolored and the electrodes were bad also. Put the plugs in after I had the neg batt cable off due to the fact that my airbag light was on too hoping to reset that light too, that didnt work atleast for the airbag light. I took the truck for a ride and it was running really rough as in it was idleing at about 400 (four hundred) RPM's and stalled at one point. Any help would greatly be appriciated. Thanks in advance!!!!
when you reset the ECU it has to relearn idle and such so it might seem rough and stall on the first drive, it should re learn quick and be fine.
**as for the plugs, idk what to say about that.

Yes it is off for the time being. I was talking with the guys from advanced and we were thinking that it might be O2 sensor or a egr valve. 192.00 for the O2 sensor!!!! I may just have to keep deleting the codes at that price till I get paid! The airbag light is still on though.
whats with the airbag light? do you know whats causing that already? i think its saying check engine cuz your truck wishes it had the V6 :P

well the airbag light came on outta no where got in the taco one day started it and the light was on. Didnt take anything out from under the seats to disturb the connectors or anything just getting in it and driving it. As for the check engine light wanting to be a V-6, then truck and owner think alike! only if there was a light on the truck that said i wanna be a 4X4 and quad cab.........
lol so was it price then? i almost got a reg cab 2.7L used when i was looking for my first car :P ended up with the camry instead. woulda been happy with the taco tho, manual small 4cyl i woulda had fun customizing that thing! i like faster vehicles but part of doesnt care that much anymore :O

Well I wish that I would have gotten the 4X4, V6 and auto trans (the 5 speed is killing my back), I do live in northeast ohio. There really isnt that much for performance upgrades for this truck for some reason, I would think atleast a turbo! Just got married end of aug and gonna start a family and what not so this taco is prob gonna be goin by the way side so i can get something thats a quad cab!
yea thats a good idea. i know there gonna use the 2.7L more now so maybe more stuff will come out for it :P
