Don't know your definition of "solid bed cover". My Tundra S/S has a Retrax. Your buddy can call them 800-206-4070, RETRAX truck bed cover pickup bed cover tonneau cover roll top cover

By the way, your buddy has a rare S/S. Dont think too many Taco S/S were put out , were they?
