Truck frame broke where motor mounts attach. This truck is lifted 2 1/2" with the coils cranked up higher than recommended and is driven very hard and has been jumped a few times.

Would they (you) be doing the same type of thing for rusted out frames being recalled? Sorry to throw this nasty question out there. I know you may not know the answer to that either.

There is a split in the bill. Toyota is buying the Frame and customer the labor. This truck has 80K miles and is NOT RUSTY & has been modified and proof has been seen of it being jumped (abused). The factory rep and the customer came to this decision, we're just doing the work.

SO far both trucks we have had for RUST, have been bought back, but this would be the same procedure.
