    Default Brake caliper

I have a 2007 Tacoma that has the front driver side brake caliper seizing quite often. I have replaced caliper three times already and is always the drivers side. Brake lines are fine so are the pins. It has always been the pistons seizing in the caliper and always drivers side. Seems weird to me seeing as how all the other brakes are original. Anyone ever come across this or have any idea why this might be happening. Thanks

    Default Re: Brake caliper

That's a tough one. Given the odd circumstances, maybe there's some kind of contamination in the brake line going to that caliper. Try flushing out that line -- give it a good thorough bleeding. Or it could be a problem with the ABS system that controls that caliper....

Good luck, I hope you can find it, fix it, & report back here.
