Default Spotted two new 2005 Tacomas

This happened about three weeks ago but I have not had an opportunity to post it between a move and new baby.

I am in Seattle Washington and when I was getting on I-90 from Seattle two new Tacomas were driving next to me. One was a 4x4 double cab and one was a 4x4 extra cab. Looked as though they were giving rides to salesmen or VIPS as both trucks were full of people.

Sorry now pics but they did look very nice and they did look very big. VEry similar to Colorado size but a bit bigger.

Funny... I think the first pictures I saw of the new '03 4 runner were from Washington??? I thought the Tacos were made in L.A. Is there a Yota plant in Washington?

Maybe Toyota is letting individual dealers try out the truck before it goes on sale. This helps the salespeople and others at the dealerships to get accustomed to the truck and it's features.

Just a guess, but who knows?

Default Origination of Tacomas

Just an FYI:

I once applied to a local NUMI [New United Motors] plant in Fremont, California when I was in high school. They have me a tour of the place. It's pretty huge. They said ALL Toyota Tacomas and Corollas were made there. Of course that fact may not be true anymore, but just thought I'd share.
