05 4runner Headlights V.s 05 Tacoma Headlights

does anyone know if the headlights are the same? im really anxious to find out,they look the same except for the plastic lower molding on the tacoma is slanted down am i correct on this? would it be the same assembly with wiring etc?

I dont think we are talking about the same year tacoma,im talking about the the x-runner based model tacoma in particular,the reason it was a question to me was because they looked very similair if not identical,and also because the tacoma is based off of the 4runner, you must be thinking the current tacoma which would seem completely different

Admittedly, they do look very similar. The fenders have the same shape, and they would probably be interchangeable... but the headlights have enough visible differences and most likely will not be interchangeable. The "swoop" under the outside is more rounded on the Tacoma, and the aforementioned bottom trim is different. We already know that lately Toyota hasn't been making things that simple for us to swap out parts like that. My first guess is that the only way to frankenstein parts from one to the other is to swap out the whole front clip, just like the previous models.
