When I ordered my Tacoma I ordered it in silver... the dealer places my order and on top of that they ordered one to have on the lot... the one they ordered was identical to the one I ordered except white. The white one showed up about 2 weeks before the silver one I ordered. I ended up getting the white one. Its a lot more flashy, eye catching, and it to hides dirt and scratchs VERY well. I think its a great alternative to black. Black would have been nice, but to hard to keep clean. When the silver one finally did show up I was glad I decided to take the white one because while the silve was very nice, it just didnt stand out like the white did.

Silver is also the hardest color to see on the road.
White is the least washed color of all colors.
Black shows every little scratch or swirl very badly.

Just what I have read/heard/or my opinions.

Joe

i dont really have a problem with keeping black looking good as you can see here

i'm just wondering if i'll get tired of silver or not, i never get tired of a black truck, and it looks so strong and professional..i guess that's why most business suits are black

oh and nothing less than the v6 of course!

i think i've decided on the sport package tho, i prefer the lsd because i'll be using that more often than offroading....too bad they dont have an auto lsd to e locker

100% agree from my personal experience.

I like white the most except it makes a truck look like a fleet vehicle.

Also note that the white on the 05 Tacoma seems to be a much more brilliant white than most whites... its a very cool shade of white. Unlike most other whites... i love my white! I never thought I would own a white vehicle, but I am glad I do.

IMO white looks best on most vehicles. I would choose the silver. Lighter colors like white and silver are cooler to the touch during the summer months, thus making the vehicle cooler. They also do not tend to oxidize like darker colors such as red, black, and darker blues.
