Does anyone know how to program the garage door button on the Xrunner mirror or I am not sure if the TRD Off Road or sport pacakge has the same mirror. I looked everyone in the owners manual

Didn't know that the X-Runner had a Homelink mirror? Did you add a mirror with Homelink, as I did?

Mine didn't program the first time I tried, so I went the "erase all buttons" proceedure and then programed the garage door without a hitch. PM me if you need any help.

I wonder if my Xrunner was supposed to have this mirror. you didnt get one with your sport package

No, none of the Tacos that I looked at or test drove had an EC mirror with anything other than the manual button that you can flip for night driving. The only dealer accessory for an auto dimming mirror in this region had the compass and temp display(one at a time). If you go to Toyota web site and "build your own", using your zip code, you can't even find Homelink mentioned. If you put in a Souther Region zip code, such as 28209(Charlotte, NC), you will see a EC mirror with Homelink offered as an accessory. I bought mine from Town & County Toyota, Charlotte, NC and it came in a box marked "EC mirror with Homelink for Prius". Maybe your dealer did some playing around with different accessories. I have the sport package with the temp and compass readout in the overhead console, so my mirror is just an EC mirror with Homelink, but I know that MITO makes all kinds of mirrors and I believe that they make the accessory mirrors for Toyota.

thats odd..I thoght this was just a standard thing in the X Runner...here is a pic of the mirror...Sorry about blurry it was getting dark and flash messed it up...will take a better pic in day tomorrow. The little box in the top corner is where it tells me Direction and temp to.

what is the conflict with the side airbags and this type of mirror?

i've seen it posted before but i still don't understand how the upgraded mirror could interfere with the side airbags.

any thoughts?

TEFye yeah thats the same thing I got...but in the top right corner there is a little window that tells temp and direction
