In some of the 2005 X-runner pictures the blue version has a hood scoop. I have not seen the scoop in the black or red pictures.
Does it get the scoop??
Why don't I go to a dealer?? I live 150 miles from Miami and 90 miles from Havana Cuba,, on a large rock,, closest dealer sells Toys,, AND Fords, Mercury, Lincoln, Chrysler, Plymouth, & Doge, only has room for 6 cars...
It's a 8 hour round trip to the big city,, nuff said??

I love the paint on my X(Radient Red). I think the paint on the Regular Taco's is impulse Red. Not sure if it is actually different or just a diff name. The X paint is super glossy though so I think it's different. Fresh off the show room the paint is like a mirror. I haven't even waxed mine yet other then drive through car washes, since we get snow and such in the winter here. It's still super reflective even with all the snow, sand, salt, etc.... I've had on it this winter. I keep it washed regularly though.
Forgot to mention. There has been no fading on the paint yet which is common with red paint. However there hasn't been a whole lot of sun and I've only had it since First week of Nov.
Hey man, Very nice truck! My fav color. Mine is the same only a DC TRD with skidplate. Just like the one on the toyota website. Yours is the sharpest two x I have seen for my taste~!
You never took that Tacoma emblem off of your passenger side door? I would take it off or add one to the drivers side to at least make it match.
LOL, I never thought of taking it off. It bugs me that it's not on both sides. What's it take to get those off. I'd like to get the "Performance of" emblem off the back also.

If they are the type with double sided tape,, sit it in the sun or use a hair dryer to warm the label,, should peel of easy.. I put the wifes RX300 in the front yard,, after an hour I had all 6 emblems off,, didn't leave any tape or gluey mess..
Slap some 22"s on and have a finished whip. That was my original plan.
Yeah that's what I want to do. 20's or 22's. I'm getting black ones though when i finally buy them. Just don't feel like spending the money right now. Would like to buy a Jet Ski first.
