Toyota offers paid public access to online repair manuals:

"Toyota offers easy and immediate access to many service publications on-line through the Technical Information System (TIS). TIS is available to the public through a subscription at http://techinfo.toyota.com.

Subscriptions to this information service can be purchased for daily, monthly or annual access. TIS provides access to all of the key service, maintenance, and reference publications necessary to support Toyota vehicles including:


Collision repair manual
Electrical wiring diagram
Owner's manual
Repair manual
Technical Service Bulletins (TSB)
Information is generally available for U.S. market vehicles starting from the 1990 model year, but specific information can be found in the TIS Library Content table. Please note that this site does not include any part catalog, ordering, or application information.

The information found in TIS is presented in PDF format and requires the Adobe Acrobat®viewer for viewing and printing."

The $10 for 24 hr. access could be useful for those who would like to perform their own maintenance/repairs. I'm not sure how cost effective this would be over the long run compared to purchasing printed copies of the repair manuals.

hi members, new here SEEKING TOYOTA C.R.I.B. #146 paintless dent repair, not an accepted repair method

does anybody have a copy of toyota collision repair information bulletin
( CRIB ) # 146, about toyota's position, on paintless dent repair?
I am fighting an insurance company, wanting to do paintless dent repair, on my 2003 4runner, after a hail storm (state farm)
I have a copy of an earlier crib # 60, dated 1994, but insurance company says it is too old.
I own a Ferrari repair shop, and subscribe to toyota's collision pros publication, the fall 2005 issue, on page 5, list's CRIB # 146 as addressing, this subject, but on the tis site, it goes from bulletin 145, to 147, starting to think insurance companies, have pressured toyota, to remove this bulletin, from circulation

I checked with a Toyota Master Tech and CRIB #146 has been removed and there is no way to get a copy.

I don't think TS has the entire manual for the 2005+ Tacoma yet.

Waiting for 05 Tacoma service manual.

Can't proceed with DEF mod without it.

I do not have the bandwidth at this time to catalogue the 1000's of files that make up the entire manual, due to time and other ongoing projects and priorities. However if you have specific requests, please place a request in the Subscriber Requests, Discussions & Technical Assistance forum and I will do what I can to satisfy specific requests.
