Default TrUCK IS IN TRUCK IS IN!!!

Just got home from the dealer. Im grinning from EAR to EAR. OMFG SOOOOOO excited..

My parents got mad at me about it though. SInce Im 16, I had to have it financed under my mom's name. So apparently the truck has to appeal to them, even though I handed them a wad of cash. (My mom is trying to build her credit). They made me pay another $500 for running boards, THAT I DONT EVEN WANT!!!

But hey, its an awesome tradeoff...My girlfriend will like the step anywho...

Again, GRIN FROM EAR TO EAR!!!

Ill borrow a camera and take pics later...

Worked 30 hour weeks since I was 12 (for my parents, but I got paid like everyone else)....saved up...

Oh man I dont think Im gonna sleep tonight. I might just sit and admire the new car smell...

Just something I was thinking about: I specifically asked them about 100 times not to drill the front bumper, but when I got there, there were 2 holes int he front bumper. Pissed me off, but Im not all too worried...

If my truck was ever keyed, and I found out who did it, the lug wrench would go through their head...

LOL, Is that you Needles?? Nah, the math is somewhat troubling.
[16 years old + male + New truck + rampant hormones] x speeding tickets = Massive insurance bill. Been there, done that.

Ive got the first person bashing my truck already. This kid drives a Ford F-150, 94, Regular Cab, 5 speed manual, 2WD. He offered my dad $3k for his modded 97 X-Cab Taco 4x4, and the KBB ont he truck was $9k+.

He said "I cant believe you wasted you money on a freakin auto. Shouldve gotten a manual. Its better on gas and brakes." So I told him "Driving a manual is fun as hell, but there are times Id rather have an auto. Like when I have to drive it every damn day. Plus, for me, a manual would do worst on gas, becuase I would hit high rpms in every gear, becuase that was how i was taught to drive manual" and he started making fun of me becuase i couldnt drive a stick (even though Ive drove his truck before), etc etc. He said if it were him, he'd get the manual. I told him to get a maunal, Id either have to get a Prerunner (bad in snow), or an A-Cab, which I didnt want... He said "Stop making BS excuses for not being able to drive a manual"

can you say "Head up *** syndrome"?
