Default How Many Quarts Of Oil V-6 Tacoma

I changed my oil and used 5 quarts of mobil 1 but It didn't bring the oil level up to the second dot on the dipstick but i'm in the safe range from what my owners manual says. Is the 05 V-6 Tacoma take exactly 5 quarts with a filter change? Thanks for any info...

No, it's 5.5 qt I think, with filter. I'm not 100% sure - I don't have my manual right here with me or anything.

Default my experience was the same as yours Blazze...

one 5q. Wal-Mart jug of Mobil 1 put my dipstick right at the midpoint.

    4.0 TRD OR #2 V6.
