Default 2005 Taco regular cab step tubes?

Guys,

I'm having trouble locating step tubes (or decent looking running boards) for my wife's new regular cab Taco. The factory tubes are darned pricy for just being painted silver -- $349 + $187 install. Any suggestions?

Tom

I got the Dee Zee chrome steps from my dealer. I had them install it but regret it, now....everyone says installation is pretty easy and I could've done it, myself.

Good luck!

I just ordered a set from HERE today. I have the doublecab, but I'd bet you can get a set for the regular cab. Good luck!

I have the Westin Signature and it looks good. Do yourself a favor and save $200 for the intall. It easy, just take your time you can do it.

I installed some Aries Ovals two weeks ago and would be glad to send you some pics. Cost was $280, and are polished SS. Took about 15-30 minutes to install.

The threaded holes in the Taco's body take an M8 bolt which will either require a 12 or 13mm wrench. For my Aries tubes, it was a 13mm.
