Default Where Are The Aftermarket 05 Parts???

I can't be the only one frustrated with the aftermarket...

The Titan was out about 2 months and there was a freakin' 6 inch kit for it, I would think by now there would be more serious off roading parts like lifts, trail armor, winch bumpers etc. on the horizon for the new Taco.

Dash kits? Sub enclosures? Winch bumpers? REAL lift kits? Front lockers? Rear bumpers? Real skid plates and belly armor?

Sure, there are plenty of "bling" items at the stealership and on ebay but WHATS UP with Fabtech, ARB, ProComp, Downey, NWOR and all the other 'Yota parts makers I havent mentioned??? WTF

We all know you usually have lag time between the intro of a new design and aftermarket support but why is it when any manufacturer comes out with a new fullsize truck (Titan, Superdookie) the aftermarket falls all over themselves to beat each other to market with products for it within a month or two at most...

So, what's the deal? Does anybody have intel or contacts with aftermarket companies who have projects in the "Skunkworks" for the new Taco?

I'd like to be able to outfit my truck to hit 5 rated trails w/o damage (I know, yeah right) Is anyone else planning to make their 05 trail ready?

TIA

Patients my friend. Most of the companies you listed have stuff in the works, and I've seen lots of aftermarket stuff for our trucks. I have a real lift, no it's not 6 inches but I don't want that. I have Donahoe coilovers, with Deaver leafs for the rear on the way. (race proven, which to me makes it a real lift) A front locker, and Bull Bar is on the way from ARB just talked to them this week, they are going to contact me when the front locker is ready, I already asked for one. It'll fit Tacoma, Tundra, and Hi-Lux 8 inch ring gear. It took them a few years with the last model for this stuff. Don't worry the new Tacoma is selling like hot cakes so the aftermarket won't sit around long before there is a ton of stuff for them.

that why I say I'll post how well it fits. if it doesn't fit good, I'll just resell it. I can also use the K&N filter I already have instead of the one it comes with if it's a cheap one.

Thanks for the info on the front locker
You`ll love the Deavers
05DOC I`ve found it`s best to contact the manufacturers directly on whatever you want for your truck
Nice to see you`re using it to do what it was made for
Stuff is coming but they need a swift kick in the butt
