Default Camper Shell for 05 DC

I just picked up an 05 DC Tacoma and I am considering a camper shell. Has anyone had experience with either the Leer or the A.R.E. brand shells for their Tacoma?
Any other brand suggestion?
Snugtop is out since there are no dealers anywhere close to New Jersey.

I had an ARE on a Chevy...great shell - no issues. plus I think the warranty is better than Leer.

I've got an ARE Z series top on order for my DC Offroad (Desert Sand Mica). Getting it with roof rack and remote locking. Supposed to be here and installed in about a week. I'll be glad to send some pics and my impressions afterwards.

My father has an ARE Z series on his white Access Cab Tundra (few years old now) and he's been extremely happy with it. And it looks great too.

I have an ARE Z with remote lock and sliding windows on the side (they don't look as cool as the pop-outs, but I need them - the dogs LOVE them). The topper is great.

The remote lock option is money well spent. I had an MPulse (ARE's budget brand) while i was waiting for the Z to come out. The shell was good, but it didn't have the remote lock. There were many times when I would be running around town, stashing things in the bed of the truck, and forgetting to lock it. And even when I did remember, the lock is not as easy to use as your average car lock. So it took a few seconds of fiddling every time... PITA. Now it is all hooked up to the central lock, and voila! Click - locked. Click click - unlocked.
