Question headlight adjustment

Has anyone adjusted their headlights on the 05 Taco?
Added Donahoes last week and seem to be annoying to other drivers. The bolts I thought would adjust them are located in the opposite corners (one high and one low) and don't seem to move the lights when adjusted? Any ideas? TIA

On the tundras, theres a small opening to fit a phillips screw driver. It's close to the fender on top of the headlight. That's where I adjusted mine.

Default Getting Tired Of Being "high Beamed" ??

Take it to an authorized headlight adjustment shop or....
pop the hood and look behind the headlights see the "dial" metal thing with the nut in the center and the teeth??back right on the drivers and back left on the pass.
one way brings them up and vice versa
park in front of the garage or a wall or something about ten feet or so away and move them down then take it for a road test try to get the best field of light without blinding everyone don`t forget to check the high beams
same thing for the fogs if you`ve got them it`s a white plastic thing you can see from underneath, round with teeth, bottom of the light
all but the lowest cars are safe from blindation when you can`t see the faces in passing cars/trucks and still have a good beam down the road call it good
I left the right a little higher than the left so I get a little more coverage without being obnoxious to the other drivers
thanks for thinking about this a lot of people don`t adjust after a lift and I hate being blinded
Fords seem to be the worst but I`ve noticed a lot of vehicles run bright *** fogs and don`t turn them off when they do their high beams I don`t like getting into light brite wars so I usually just let them off with a high beam flash but there`s been a few times some dummy wants to play "whose lights are the brightest"

I forgot to mention back away from the garage/wall slowly to see what they do before hitting the road

Default Re: headlight adjustment

My headlights from the factory were a tad high, the right side more so. When I got the suspension TSB it settled down, I was getting high-beamed so often it was starting to really piss me off. They are NOT out of angle, just a particularly clear and white headlight that is a little offensive to cars........ F-them, I see better in this truck than any other vehicle I've ever owned, and the High beams are really great. Thanks for posting the how-to.
