Default 4X4 rear mud flap needed

Anyone take off their Rear 4X4 mud flaps ? I broke off my driver side rear mud flap. And I want to replace it but I don't want to pay dealer prices. Anyone ??

I'd be willing to send you my drivers side one. I took them both off after the passenger one ripped off backing up onto a curb. But the drivers side one is still ok. How bad is your drivers side one? Because if it's not in pieces, I'd kinda like it if you sent that one to me just in case I need to glue them both back on or something. Oh, and no charge of course. You may thank Clump for my generosity. He hooked me up with his spare single DIN sleeve for the dashkit (no charge). I'm paying it forward so to speak.

I too snapped one my front mud flips. I just took off the other side and have the only the rears.

*tacomaharry* why not just take all of the mud flaps off. Last time I checked, each flap from the dealership is about $75. Ouch!

Exclamation Stubby Flap Mod

I recommend trimming them up so you still have some paint protection. Besides, they leave nasty looking wear lines on the fender flare paint so leaving them on and trimmed up hides those marks. Check my pics if you want to see the stubby flap mod

Much more durable IMHO.

QuasiInsomniac,

That would be great, I'll PM you with my address.

I too had a payforward event recently. I was stuck in a mudhole (sitting on the frame, wheels spinning) and I flagged down a couple in a big Ford F-250 4X4, He pulled me out and I tried to thank him and slip him a $20.00 bill. He refused to take it, I thanked him again. 3 days later my son blew a fan belt on his Jeep. I helped him change it, and he tried to slip me $20.00. I told him about the guy in the F-250 and gave me a hug and said thanks.

You know if we keep doing this maybe everyone will catch on and do the same. Possible?

Thanks,
Harry

PS : and thank you to all others that replied too.

Regarding them digging into the paint, I will be hitting the dealer up for that one.

I also need a 'Rear Right' 4X4 Mud Guard, It just got busted off backing up a snow banK!

I haven't posted here in so long, I forgot my user name & PW so I just created a new one, that's why I only have one post. I have a 2005 4X4 Taco.

If anyone has a rear right 4X4 guard that they want to sell or just get rid of please let me know. These things are way too expensive from the dealer. It would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Rich K.
