Default 05+ D-Cab underseat amp

The vent under the seat is fawking up all my plans to mount an amp. If I move the amp more towards the back, then I'd have to take out the rear floormat, which I don't wanna do. Anybody pulled it off? Pics would be nice.

I took the vent out of mine. It just pulls out. Goes back in easily too.
You can put it back in so that it goes over the amp at an angle but I didn't.
I'll check to see how much heat is blowing directly on the amp now that winter is coming.

That's probably what I'll end up doing too. I'll get a better idea once I pull the seat out and get started.
