Muth Signal Mirrors for Tacoma

I found a vendor that will sell me a complete set for $230 delivered in either red or amber including the h-mod. i am really thinking of pulling the trigger on this.

You sound like you've got some interesting mods Can you tell me about this Fog light mod (TEFye's), and what is the Black Headlight treatment mod. Also have you had any issues with Power Tower LED turn signal bulbs.

John, check LED turn signal bulbs in the 2005 Tacoma for the LED bulbs, I've had no issues with mine yet

TEFye is a member here that posted a mod in the member's only forum. Basically the fog lights come on when you have just your parking lights on, come on with your low beam headlights, and stay on when you switch to your high beams. Best part is it only took about a two foot piece of wire and a small splice. Be the only one in your city with a Taco with fog lights on with parking lights. The looks you get from other Tacoma owners when they try to figure out how you did that is priceless!

So for the three mods here, I'm out less than $60 total, but time invested is about 16 hours, most of that on doing the headlights without rushing.

I just placed the order . also I made a typo . It is $250 delivered. once they arrive and i have them in my hands i will post the vendor and the salesmans direct email address . i want to have them in my hand before i post info. they are a legit co. but want to be 100% before i post it.

Just for clarification, are you saying you bought the heated signal mirrors that are listed on Muth's website for $269 and then the H-Mod wiring kit also listed for $69 (that's $338 at Muth) for only $250 from your guy, shipped? That's a great price, please share when you can.

OK guys, I called Rob at BrandNewElectronics. Kneebiter is right, Rob is a nice guy. I didn't even have to ask for the same pricing, he just rang it up that way. This is a savings of close to $90 over what Muth wants for their own mirrors.

heated Signal mirrors = $195

H-Mod heating kit = $55

I can't wait to get my package

I paid via paypal and got my mirrors 2 days later . hoping to install them this weekend weather permitting.

Ordered my mirrors last night through Rob via email. Whole transaction only took about an hour. (My fault it took so long, I did not check my email, he replied immediately!!!)
Paid through paypal, mine are on the way for $250 delivered no questions asked!
Their website lists a higher price, you need to talk to Rob.

FedEx came yesterday to deliver my mirrors, however I was not there to sign for them I called and they will come today to deliver Swweeeett!

Funny thing happened to me with FEDEX. I came home and there was a sticker on my front door that read 1st attempt sig required will redeliver tomorrow between ?? no time written in . So I called fedex and told them, Hey people do work but I will be home tomorrow untill noon. The women told me she would put a request in the computer for them to try and deliver before noon . Well the next day I waited and around 1130 I started to get ready for work . I just happened to see out the corner of my eye something move . I looked out the window and the Fedex guy was getting into his truck . I opened the door and there was another tag on it . I yelled to the guy HEY ! he looked at me and said Daaa OHH ummm Hello . I said what the hell are you doing . He replied with I did not think you were home . I said , Did you ring the doorbell. ERRR NO i did not see a car . Well what about the truck right there in front of you , What if I dont drive, What if it was in the garage , Do you have xray vision I asked . Why did you not ring my bell ?? ERRR UMMM here sign here he said . What a complete moron. I was lucky that I saw him or I would have waited all morning for nothing . Now this has no reflection on Rob or his co. as they are great and recomended highly . This is just my horror story with Fedex . Now that Im done venting I think I wil attempt to install my mirrors .
