NUMMI Tours Fremont, Ca

My wife and I are originally from the central coast of California .... we are going to be back in April for a visit..... I am thinking about taking the tour at NUMMI plant in Fremont. Anybody been on this is before .....

Is it worth the FREE admission?? ;

I toured the Toyota assembly plant at Georgetown Ky twice - they build Camrys, Avalons and Siennas (Siennas production has moved somewhere else now I believe). It was a pretty cool tour and I bet you will enjoy seeing where your truck was built. You are going to love your Tacoma - mine is one of the very nicest vehicles that I have ever owned, and I have owned a bunch. My first choice was a radiant red Sport access cab, but they were impossible to find and my local dealer wanted me to pay sticker price to get one built, so I went with my second choice, which was silver. The next month is going to be a long one for you I bet - but it will have been worth the wait. Enjoy.

I may just schedule a tour. I've always wanted to check out an auto plant. The closest I have to being in an auto plant is in the Great Mall in Milpitas, CA; it used to be an auto manufacturing plant turned mall but they kept the auto theme.
