huge white cloud - hard acceleration

Looking for advise on this - 2005 TRD Sport 4x4 DC, 4.0, auto

Last weekend my cousin was following me on a drive out to a b-day party. Jumping on the MA Pike, I got into some high rpm's and he was directly behind me (maybe 3 or 4 car links). When we got to the party he said my truck stunk like rotten eggs so bad, he had never smelled it like that before. I just chaulked it up to being a new truck.

Today leaving from work I was stuck behind a poke getting on the highway. I revved the rpms to pass him (he was on his phone) and looked in my rearview for oncoming traffic. I noticed a huge white cloud 30+ ft behind me, approx. where I had put my foot to the floor to pass the poke. There was no white smoke or anything after that (I know what a blown head gasket looks like )

Any clue what is going on? I'm guessing that white cloud is what my cousin smelled last week....

there is a tsb on the 05 for the cat convt . it could be cheap gas . i would take it in for the tsb .

Yup, definitely cat convertor....
