Default 05+ 6" fabtech prerunner question

does anyone know for sure if the kit will install on the prerunner and is there any cutting?

i'm not trying to thread crap, but i would honestly check around. at least w/ 98-04 tacos, the prerunners did not have to cut the crossmember for the trailmaster lift.

from my understanding, you have to cut the crossmember solely because it is in the way of the 4wd driveshaft, and if your a prerunner, you dont have the front driveshaft, therefore you shouldnt have to cut it.

I had the exact same question. Because I put a Pro-Comp on my 02 Prerunner with no cutting.

I spoke with Fabtech and was told that the front cross member still needs to be cut on the Prerunner, more for front bracket clearance than the differential.

I also spoke with Pro-Comp on their new lift and was told cutting is not needed on theirs for the Prerunner. That made my decision for me.

the crossmember WILL NEED TO BE CUT in order for the fabtech crossmember to be installed. They wack off about a foot and a half or so wide chunk out of the middle... I'll actually run out to the garage really quick and take a picture for ya and post it up here in a few...
