Exclamation Just Ordered Lift

Hi everyone, I just ordered a 3" Toytec spacer and AAL lift with front diff. drop and rear axle degree shims. I'm going to install it myself, and as this is my first lift, I wanted to here any tips or suggestions some of you might have about the install ie; how long it should take, or any special tools I might need (I have a spring compressor) etc,etc...
I would also like to know the largest 16" tire size I can run after the lift install. I'm running 265's now but might like to go bigger at a later time...

Thank's,
Dirk

I personally can't help. But there already is an article on how to install the Toytec lift:

I put a ToyTec 2.5 lift in my 2004 Tacoma. The front needs to be compressed I used 4 spring compressors per spring. It is work but I did it. It takes a lot of compressing. Make sure you line up the top bolts so you can install the shocks. Disconnect the swaybar. A must!

The front diff drop is easy. Just make sure you lenghten the rear bolt holes. I drilled first then I used a round file.

Four compressors?! I didn't think they'd be that stout, thanks for the feedback.

That was a great writeup by SMTRDSPORT, that's really going to help.
I appreciate that spjonm3.

We installed the lift on my truck but I took the springs to a shop to have them compressed for like $40 bucks I think. Other than that the only real advice is...air tools were my best friend!
