Well almost. Still have to take it in tomorrow for the alignment. I paid 159$ even to get it installed. Another 60$ for the alignment.
Initial impressions...
It's frickin awesome! Normal ride seems better. Seems to float over the road better, but bumps are definitely more noticable. But I expected that with all the suspension being stiffer now. I have a slight vibration when I start going from a stop, and the front end seems to vibrate when I stop. I'll see what happens after the alignment.
Here's the pics!
It seems like it sits a bit *** high, but it is pretty damn level. When it was sitting out front of the garage I had it installed at, it was on flat ground and looked perfect. My driveway and the road I had it on were pretty uneven.

That looks sharp. After looking at your truck, I'm wondering if I should do that to my truck. How much of a raise is that? What parts did you use and how much was the cost with wheels and tires included?
Lift was courtesy of Toytec. I got the Spacer/Coil lift. Between the tires and lift I'd say I'm sitting about 3.5 to 4" taller. Shipped to my door for about 320$. Tires and rims together, were close to 1600$.

I got mine at Lowe's in the Paint department. If you do use it, make sure you shake it up constantly the whole time you're using it. It's more of a rubberized coating than paint. If you don't shake it enough it has a tendancy to come out of the can in little balls. I learned the hard way with my lights. Luckily I thought quickly and just wiped off the reflector and started over.

Well I guess I'll be seeing you around town now! The truck looks great. The guy with the lift I wanted hasn't been on TS since the 10th of this month, so I've been a sitting duck.
Truck looks great and I can't wait until we can do some wheeling together.

I've looked around for wheels and I'm considering those TRD's, or perhaps some Centerlines, AR... Where did you pick them up from? They seem pretty rugged? I see once in a while Performance Products has them on sale. Its pretty tempting to order them the next time I see a good price on them.

I purchased my wheels from ebay. There was a dealer that had tons of them for sale, but looks like they've dissappeared. Maybe their advertisement of them being discontinued was true...

Looks good. The tires look big for being 265's in the pictures. You won't need to get your speedo recalibrated. Tacomas and Tundra are 2-3 mph off with the factory size tires. With your new size yours will be dead on. Check it with a highway speed checker.
"By the way, there is a Toytec Group Buy going on over at the TN Forum through the end of the year if anyone is interested in lifting their Tacoma."
