TacomaGeneral discussion forum for the 2005 and later Toyota Tacoma.
This is a discussion thread titled "Pre runner bumpers?", within the Tacoma forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I think you need to get one fabbed up.........unless your thinking of like a bull bar with some lights on it....and there are a few of those out there..

as nice as those are..there not really prerunner bumpers..i think they are both too big and too heavy to be real prerunner desert style bumpers, if that is what he is after.

Allpro looks tuff but I am wondering the weight of the unit -
Daily driver that I plan on taking out once in a while and literally running in the desert at speed. I am looking for some protection up front but not for excessive weight.
Thanks - Demello has seriously over priced steel imho and maybe its just me but the stuff is down right ugly. Perhaps I need to see one in person to appreciate it ?

EHHH... Dont get it unless your gunna use it to mega huck your truck and need it when the rear end bucks and the weight of your engine pulls the front down.
But to give you an idea. SDHQ made a very clean one.
Looks like a well designed unit -Cost?
Web site lists no prices for the bumpers.
Give them a call. Key word in custom fabrication is custom, there for every unit is different. No assembly line. They build what you want. Wheter you want 2 light tabs or 16. Its all gunna change the cost. I am gunna throw a number out there. For that one picture I am gunna say mid $500 range simply because of the metal work.
For a steel bumper the All-Pro is pretty lite. It only weighs about ~85lbs. without a winch installed. The material you take off to intstall it weights about ~20+ lbs so you are adding only ~60lbs.
