have 06 trd off rd with the rear seal on the tranny leaking.
has any one had this problem ?
had it in the shop two times & it only has 3,000 miles on it.

The rear seal or the back of the pan seal?

keep making the dealer fix it. It is under warrenty.

it is the rear seal.
butt it is coming out between the dust cup and the housing.
and it's not coming out around the yoke so it must be the o.d. of the seal
and not the i.d. . i don't see the need in this BIG dust cup anyway.

If the dealer can't fix it have them contact Toyota and open a service ticket with them. I had to do this with a 4Runner I had. There was a noise in the tranny that the dealer couldn't fix. Toyota sent a tech out and eventually replaced the entire tranny for free.
