TacomaGeneral discussion forum for the 2005 and later Toyota Tacoma.
This is a discussion thread titled "Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Tacoma Owners Introduce Yourself Here!", within the Tacoma forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Just to let you all know that I got the first 05 Taco Doublecab TRD Offroad in Colorado. I bought this truck on 05 Oct 05. This truck is awesome. You all need to get one!! Since I am a new member I thought I would introduce myself with a superb truck. Laters....
Hi to all in the forum. I bought an 04 TRD V6 Tacoma this past July, it's my 3rd Toyota Truck. I also currently own a project 1978 FJ40 Landcruiser that I'm continuing to restore.
I recently went through the horror of changing my oil for the first time on my new Taco, and am extremely dissapointed with the location of the filter. Honestly, if I had seen the filter location prior to purchasing the truck, I would not have bought another Toyota pickup...
I guess I'm going to have to install a remote filter to end my frustration with Toyota's extremely poor design. I'm looking for some advice on brands that are good quality, decent price, and work the best under the Tacoma hood.
Hey everyone.
Just picked up my 2002 Toyota Tacoma Pre-, Doublecab Limited on Saturday, and started looking for web forums to read. gotta love the internet!!!
Anyway, new to the Tacoma, not new to Toyota trucks. Had an '87 a few years ago.
Current truck has a 3" lift and 32" tires on it. Whoever had it before me did a decent job, but the lift is kinda weak. and he left the stock shocks in the rear, so they are completely extended...wonder if he would have kept the truck had he replaced those! haha
What is up 3v3ry 1....Name is J.D. and you can read the sig to get the rest. I am one of the Jacksonville Fl peeps. Been on here before and just not got around to registering..anywho...see ya around...

Hi my name is Robert. I work at Moreno Valley Toyota/Scion in the Sales Dept. I've worked for this dealership for three years now. I just bought a Speedway Blue X-Runner. I picked up a co-sponsorship w/Rotora to develop a couple of big brake kit options for the new X-Runner and aslo with the S-Runner.
I look forward to reading all the post's here and helping where I can.
For pics of the X-Runner and my Previous car a '99 Camry XLE V6 with custom paint, lowered on tokicos and eibachs. 18" Ace Spiders and A killer audio setup.
Welcome to Tundra Solutions cam2Xrunner!! OMG that's a sweet ride.......... Being around Toyos all day long you probably know most of the cliches about the quality and dependability of them. Hopefully you will share some of your insight into the Tacoma and other forums about your experience with Toyo. i owned my first Toy 4x4 in '87. it was an '81 special edition / 20R. my dad put a new clutch in it (and just about everything else in the coming years).
i then owned an '83 until 2002. dad put just about everything in that too (with my help).
had to sell it 'cuz of California's ludicrous "SMOG" laws. sold it to a cousin in Oregon.
i now own an '03 Toyota Tacoma / full TRD package. .. the jury is still out.
I've been a member of CustomTacos.com for over 3 years and recently started looking here. Previously had a 1995 V6 Tacoma and now have a 2002 S/C 4cyl. Tacoma. Pics of these can be seen on CustomTacos under the same user name. I am trading it in for a 2005 dub cab within the next month. I plan to lift it on some 33s around April and can't wait.
