I just purchased a 2002 Tacoma SR5 V6 5spd TRD and wanted to say hey. I've always loved the looks of the Tacoma and the dependablity of a Toyota and I'm glad to now own one...
..and if anyone is curious, my username is from the SNL skit Jeopardy where "Burt Reynolds" changes his name to Turd Ferguson...
Welcome to the club, TRD Ferguson... catchy username! Norm did a good job acting like Burt Reynolds... and darrel hammond was hilarious acting like sean connery! hehe

Not yet a taco owner...maybe will never be one. I'm trolling these forums to help me decide if I want one. I am, however, leaning HEAVILY towards getting a Tacoma. Other options for me: Dodge Dakota, Nissan Frontier, and Honda Element (more of a musing rather than a serious thought).
Welcome to Tundra Solutions mktacoma!! Whether or not you get one, you will find lots of good information here. Best advice I can give is just read all up and down this forum. Also read up on the aftermarket products too. I just wanted to introduce my self. I just bought my first Toyota ever. A 2005 Tacoma 4X4, regular cab 4 cylinder 5 speed. I only have about 300 miles on it so far. But I just love it.
Welcome to Tundra Solutions Steelerfan and Road_Carver!! Hey steeler, great choice on the new Taco, since its your first Toyota I would definitely test it out. Go to the Off-Road forum and kick up some dust. Road_Carver, don't forget to post pics when the X-Runner gets in, you probably want to chat with these guys in the X-Runners Thread . Thank you for the welcome, I am a proud owner of a Lexus IS300 so this would be my second Toyota family car. I am also checking out this forum which I have to say is quite informative on vehicles from toyota in general.
I finally ordered a 2005 Silver Mica DC Prerunner with the TRD # 2. The dealership said it will be another week before I get it so they gave me a 2005 DC Tundra V8 loaner to drive around with until it came in. Has anybody else received a loaner after they ordered there truck. The dealership was David Maus Toyota. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone living in the Central Florida area. Has anyone else on the board ordered a DC 4X2 with the TRD # 2. Fill me in on the details. Pics if you have.
Congratulations on your new purchase. I have the exact same truck. I will be washing and waxing the truck on tuesday and will hopefully get some pictures too. Are you planning on getting any accessories? If you do, please post up pictures as soon as you get it so that I may see how my truck would possibly look.
